In-Home Nanny Required – BANKS ACT

Background:

Our Children aged 3 (boy) and 1 (Triplets – 2 Girls and Boy) are looking for a Nanny who will respect them, discipline when required – but most of all provide a warm and loving environment. 

We are looking for an ‘In-Home Nanny’ to provide assistance with our Children between 3-5 days per week depending on preference of the successful applicant. 

The mother (Leah) will generally be home on the days the Nanny is required.  Leah will be returning to work in July 2012 and the successful applicant will be required to look after the children whilst we are at work.

The nannies duties would be to solely care for the children and the Nanny is not expected to perform household duties other than those associated with the care of the children.

The Nanny will be required to take the babies to Playgroup on Mondays and leave the eldest child at home for some one on one time with mum.  Our car may be used as Car Seats are already installed.

Summary:

Working Hours:   8 hours per day – 3 to 5 days per week

Location:  Our house is located in BANKS

Pay Rate $20-$25 depending on qualifications/experience of successful applicant

Requirements:

·         Current Drivers Licence

If you are successful for the position, you will need to:

·         Register with Communities at Work ‘To become an Approved Carer with Communities@Work In Home Care, the carer must obtain a current senior first aid certificate, a satisfactory police records check and have public liability insurance.

·         Carers are required to complete a Professional Development Plan each year and attend regular training sessions.
