The role
We
are seeking rig geologists to join our team in a full time permanent
capacity. You will provide field based geological supervision for cored
and non-cored coal and coal seam gas drilling programs with a
proportion of office based reporting.
To
be successful you will need to have relevant tertiary qualifications
and at least one year’s experience in the field, demonstrate a flexible
attitude to work and have effective time management, logistical,
planning and client management skills. You will place a strong emphasis
on OH&S, environmental and quality principles. As part of our
commitment to safety you will be required to participate in regular
drug and alcohol testing. A working knowledge of industry standard
software packages is desirable but not essential. Current manual
drivers licence is a MUST.
Remuneration
will be offered commensurate with experience, as a general guide
Geologists with approximately 12 months experience can expect around
$26 per hour.
