Financial / Commercial Analyst - Financial Services, Contract

This dynamic financial services organisation seeks a strong financial analyst to assist with reporting and analysis of its consumer facing business.  Due to recent changes within the financial services market this business unit is experiencing significant growth and this in turn has generated this new commercially focussed role. Supporting the business you will be tasked with both commercial analysis and the preparation of financial reporting and analysis, investigating variances highlighted in the reports and providing analysis and interpretation of those reports to the business owners. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining detailed business models and analytical reporting in relation to the organisation''s strategic objectives including budgeting and long term forecasting, potential acquisition and valuation assessments, customer / product profitability pricing as well as analysing potential opportunities across a range of markets. Formally qualified you will relish working in a young team environment and enjoy building strong relationships with your key stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in commercial, analytical roles within financial services. Retail banking experience is highly appreciated. Your use of systems and financial models has enabled you to better understand and explain a complex business and you are comfortable using both excel and access.
