Dog World is located in Hume, Canberra, Australia.  Dog World provide several different dog related services to the ACT & surrounding areas.
Dog World are current members of Dogs ACT (ACTCA - ACT Canine Association) & Dogs NSW (NSWCC -NSW Canine Council).

Dog World is a collection point for Genetic Technologies & also have Authorised Canine Collection Officers for the Australian Canine Pedigree Assurance Programme which is the collection of DNA & Genetic Health Testing carried out by Genetic Science Services.
Dog World are very proud to work closely with Australian Domestic Animal Services, ACT Rescue & Foster Dogs, Lions Hearing Dogs, Guide Dogs Australia, Air Force Dogs, Custom Detection Dogs, Australian Protective Services & Australian Federal Police K-9 Units. Dog World are also the chosen grooming service for several local celebrities. Dog World have several clients that come from interstate to use our services. Some clients come from as far as Queensland, Northern NSW & Victoria to have us take care of their dogs for them. Naturally Dog World are also the chosen groomers for several Australian Champion Show Dogs.
Some of our groomers show dogs, some are canine obedience instructors, some compete in agility trials with their dogs, some are current training vet nurses, but all of our groomers own several dogs themselves. We are therefore naturally very dedicated to the care of dogs.
Dog World are very different to your average grooming salon, Dog World have an open door policy & the public are free to turn up whenever they like duing opening hours & actually witness the dogs being groomed.
Clients don''t need to be concerned about how their dogs are being handled & treated, as it''s right there in front of them & the general public to see.
We enjoy working with dogs & we enjoy what we do. We are very firm believers that if you don''t enjoy your work, you won''t do a good job, simply because you don''t want to do it. We love dogs, therefore we enjoy our work & it''s as simple as that.

Dog World''s Professional Modern Grooming Salon also has DIY Hydrobathing Bays which have been designed for the public to come in use with their own dog.  In each DIY washing bay there''s a Hydrobath, Clean Fresh Heated Water, Grooming Tools, a Grooming Table, a Towel per dog, Grooming Aprons, as well as a Heated Force Dryer to dry your dog & remove excess hair.  Shampoos, Conditioners & Deodorants are available to buy on the premises, but you are invited to bring your own if you have a preference to a certain type.

We keep our appointments, so you can rest assured that when you make a booking with us, one of our reliable groomers will be available at the salon to groom your dog for you on the scheduled day, at the scheduled time.
